Defender Polar 1/4 Zip Fleece

Excellent well rounded sweater for outdoor activities or resting in your camp. This product is very durable very warm and compress as well into their backpacks. If it is above 10° and I’m hiking I generally have to take it off so I don’t sweat into it. Perfect for putting back on after rigourous activity.

Like someone said before, it was an instant love and still is. The quality feels so good and durable. As always, there are nice details. I wore it while hiking the alps in summer, going out with friends on a fall evening and now in the winter - it always performs and keeps you warm, when you need it to.

Second purchase from Saint Javelin. Over the moon with this fleece. As described and size is also spot on. Just what I need for up on the hills.

Most review mention it's warm, that's going to be a given. What few mention is how dense it is! This is not your typical "polar fleece" that's a nice base layer but defenseless against anything over a mild breeze. It's not thick, and only very, very slightly more bulky than a typical fleece. But it's dense, and while it does not carry the outdoorsy windproof sheen, it's going to hold heat better and resist wind more than any fleece I've encountered, ever. Bonus: The collar likes to stay up, even when unzipped. Want to keep the wind off your neck, but maybe don't want to be fully zipped in and insulated? This fleece as you (pun!) ... covered.

Truly impressive, and not at all comparable to what you're most likely accustomed to in this product space. This is an outlier in every good way possible.

I was expecting a decent fleece, but this is excellently made. High quality, it is dense, but not thick. A good fit. Not loose or baggy. I highly recommend it.

This is an exceptionally warm pull over. I'm 5'10 185 with a 40 inch chest and a large is spot on. Only slightly baggy to accommodate layering.

I've been a believer and a user of fleece clothing since the early 80's. Ukraine should have gotten into this years ago because they know how to make a quality product. Granted, the price is up there a tad, but knowing proceeds from the sales help the war effort makes it all the more worthwhile. If Saint Javelin comes up with fleece lined wind pants, I'll be first in line to buy them. May God bless the people of Ukraine!! May Putin rot in ****!
