ARAKAWA MINI SLINGPACK - Saint Javelin x keep

I see ads all day up on Face Book and its overwhelming all the cool stuff all across the world. I am into sling bags and outdoors products. This SlingPack popped up and I was so close to not ordering only because not out of the US. I didn't want to loose my money but took a chances. I AM GLAD I DID. This is a awesome well maid bag that I will have till I die and someone else will get it after that. I wish it would have come with the Ukraine Flag patch. This should be included when buying over $100. Not a big deal as they showed out of stock anyway.

I really like the Arakawa sling bag. I use it as mostly a **** pack. I find it stylish and robust. The sling bag took about 10 days to arrive from the Ukraine and it’s worth the wait

Rigid and durable design that will last a long time. Fits comfortably across the body and all wearing styles

I never usually review things, but for this bag I feel I need to. I’ve been traveling around south east Asia for the last month wearing the bag everyday, and it looks good as new. No scratches, wear or damage from hikes/motorbike trails. Would highly recommend, other than the high price tag and slow shipping (which is understandable), nothing to complain about.

Perfect for when I dont want to bring a backpack everywhere. I use it daily, including while at work as a bouncer.

Easily accessible on my chest while on commute, or snug in place on my back when I need the space in front free.

Ive been able to fit x2 12oz Energy drinks + my windbreaker in main pocket at the same time, along with various tools for work, cigs, lighters cash, gloves.....this bag is much bigger than you think, if you know how to pack it correctly.

Super happy with its performance and quality.

As a photographer, and a bag person , I have a lot of bags, when my slingbag came I was mixed, but once I had it out and put a few patches and thing on it I now carry it everyday, filled mostly with personal things, I gave it 4 stars because if I was recommending it to a friend, which I would, I would say the strap is a little to short for me as I like the opportunity to carry the bag a bit lower, the black strap seems useless, its too short and thank you for being able to remove it..the little mesh side pockets seem more cosmetic than useful..but they will hold a roll of film..If I sound down on this bag, I am not, its small size, the handles, the build, is really good..I like it, and would buy it again…

Great sling bag. Lots of room and the sode pouches are the perfect size for my Meshcore repeater while im out and about.

Nicely made, poorly designed.

1. the front pock has almost zero volume to it. It's good for business cards but not much else. Don't expect to get a few sets of keys in it.
2. All mesh pockets on this item should be elasticated. It's mind boggling (especially at this price) that they're not. Because they're not, functionality, ease of use and access is much reduced. It also puts undue pressure on the central stitching of the main inside mesh pockets. See pic.
3. the top pocket zip should have a longer range of motion. it renders the far edges of the central pocket inaccessible.

Overall needs a redesign at this price point. Disappointing.

I only have one complaint or adjustment id like to see is the elastic bands inside sitt weary low on the inside so its hard to be useful for me

I broke it right off. My fault but it set the tone for my opinion. I can’t bring myself to get excited about a bag. It’s a good bag. It seems to be of good quality. Actually, when I think about it. It’s the delivery shipping. Nd suppose custom duties that set the tone. The bag is already over priced and if I had thought about the surprise customs duties and overtaxation I would not have bought it.

I fix the broken plastic fastener with a titanium split ring so technically it’s better than new now.

Amazing style, and I love the patches too

Initially really enjoyed the bag and still quite happy with its look and function but after about a month there are small aspects of build quality that im less happy with.

First issue, when worn on the back the buckle tends to sit on and dig into my shoulder especially when biking.
Second the little loop of webbing to hold the strap slack is unraveling (easily replaced but still) and the folded tail of the strap is starting to come unstiched.
Third the mesh side pouches dont feel like theyll last long and the grommet for the cinch on one side has come out.
Last the top carry handle has quickly begun to get sort of fuzzy with loose fibers.

Aestheticaly awesome and the main body of the bag is seemingly built well but the peripheral parts seem a little lacking. I image it will wear like a velveteen rabbit. Ears eyes and fur rubbed off from years of love.
I dont regret the purchase and I hope the money goes well to support Ukraine.

Final note, wishlist:
I wish there had been some loops or something on the underside so that I could add stretchy cord to fit a rolled up puffer or shell jacket.

Service was helpful and delivery to the UK very punctual. Bag is top notch qiality and looks great

I use my slingpack for long walks and hikes , to have my documents telephone and small snacks for grabs.
