Best Duty Socks

Pretty sure these are a special version of the same Ukrainian tactical socks I've been wearing for the past 4 years. Which is to say they are excellent in every way. Comfortable, durable, cool in the summer, warm in the winter.

Exactly as expected

I think it looks a little nicer in person than the image, the fine image of the saint in the box for example is much nicer in reality than the image.

A story in every picture

They do say a picture is worth a thousand words, the pictures themselves are moving and tell stories, add in the words and you have a powerful emotional book.

Very nice shirt :)

Perfect!

No surprise. Ordered the same one a year ago and was super delighted. It was my daily companion.
Now another year with a fresh one. 👍

Good size and not too heavy to hold when full

Defender Polar 1/4 Zip Fleece
Aj Rez (Los Angeles, United States)
Not Just Another Fleece! Really!

Most review mention it's warm, that's going to be a given. What few mention is how dense it is! This is not your typical "polar fleece" that's a nice base layer but defenseless against anything over a mild breeze. It's not thick, and only very, very slightly more bulky than a typical fleece. But it's dense, and while it does not carry the outdoorsy windproof sheen, it's going to hold heat better and resist wind more than any fleece I've encountered, ever. Bonus: The collar likes to stay up, even when unzipped. Want to keep the wind off your neck, but maybe don't want to be fully zipped in and insulated? This fleece as you (pun!) ... covered.

Truly impressive, and not at all comparable to what you're most likely accustomed to in this product space. This is an outlier in every good way possible.

Special Operations Agricultural Division - Velcro Patch

Solid Patch

This patch is what I would call "as expected". Velcro hook backing (no matching loop field, which is fine, I have a bag of them from other patches that will never see use), colours are "very close" to the photos of the product, allowing for variance in manufacturing and also monitor colour temp.

It's almost a little comical, with the green parts sticking out a bit past the yellow parts. Otherwise, it's a patch, it's a good size, and the rubber is highly flexible, it is not as stiff as some patches that make garments not sit properly, and should hold up well to cold temps, also.

Amazing Craftsmanship

As others have mentioned, the craftsmanship is top notch. Looking at the video and seeing where the attachment point is when cast vs. post-polishing and finishing it's basically indistinguishable. Another review mentioned the detail in the rope around the anchor, I didn't even realize how detailed it was until I read that! Super fine detailing, very impressive!

Also, as one other review mentioned, mine also did not arrive with a key ring. I have many keyrings as it is, but a thick brass one would look more at home on this than a typical consumer-grade keyring, so I'll need to source one of those.

This is a hefty piece, I'd call it too heavy, and definitely too precious, to allow it to get beat up on my keyrings. It'll find a proper home, just not getting bashed by keys in my pocket. Having another piece crafted from recovered artillery shells and crafted in Ukraine is an absolute win.

See you all in Crimea! Slava Ukraini!

Tryzub Pin (Recycled Artillery Shells)

Beautiful Piece!

I am very impressed with this pin. It's not too small, or too large, but it's hefty. This is not a lightweight tin pin as one may encounter with virtually everything else, the recycled brass is dense, and it has a nice heft to it.

The pins on the back come with plastic caps, unsure how well they'll grip in the long run. All pins of this sort I replace the standard pinch-grabber backing with locking caps that ensure nothing falls off.

I wish it were only 1-2 mm taller and proportionally wider, and slightly more affordable, as I'd love to have a few of these permanently installed in various applications.

Very nice material and as a size XL is what you could assume it to be. In sum: 5/5
