The design of this shirt draws inspiration from Örnek, a traditional Crimean Tatar ornament and a national treasure of Ukraine. It encompasses a system of meaningful symbols that are used in various forms of artistic expression such as embroidery, weaving, pottery, engraving, jewelry, wood carving, and glass and wall painting. In 2021, Örnek was officially included on UNESCO's Representative List of the Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity.
Encrypted within our unique design, the beauty of Crimea and the spirit of the Ukrainian resistance on the temporarily occupied peninsula can be traced through these ornaments. Get this shirt to prepare for the upcoming Crimea Beach Party and support the liberation of Ukraine’s territories!
