Too hot when you go hard, cold the second you stop. The PowerGrid Quarter-Zip breathes while you move and zips up when you stop, so you're not pulling layers on and off all day.
“Fit and build quality are top notch and on par with major brands. What's really impressive is how warm it is for being super lightweight. Great stuff.”
Finally: It breathes.
Polartec Power Grid has a grid on the inside. The squares hold warm air and the channels between them let heat and sweat out, so you stay warm without cooking on the uphill.

Finally: Unzip when you go hard. Zip up when you stop.
The quarter-zip and stand-up collar let you dump heat while you work and seal it back in when you stop. No pulling layers on and off every ten minutes.
“The quarter zip is also a bit deeper, which helps you dump heat if you are hiking harder in cool or cold weather.”

Finally: It layers clean.
It’s thin and close-fitting, with a collar that sits flat under a jacket. Wear it on its own on cool days, under a shell when the weather turns.
“Excellent top. Fit is spot on. … Really comfortable to wear, layers well under a hardshell. … Really impressed that Polartech powergrid material has been selected too. Highly recommended.”

Finally: It packs into two hands.
Light enough to live in your pack all season, so there’s always a warm layer for the summit, the stop or the drive home.
“warm, comfy, good for layering, and takes up little spece in the backpack”

Finally: A pocket that zips shut.
A zip hip pocket keeps your phone and keys locked in while you move.
“Sizing is spot on. Very warm in winter, and breathable when inside. Pockets are deceiving large and useful. Pocket draw strings are a nice touch. Best mid layer I’ve ever bought.”
