Power Stretch
Polartec created synthetic fleece in 1981 and supplied the fleece behind Patagonia's first Synchilla and The North Face's Denali. Power Stretch is its stretch fleece: a smooth nylon face outside, soft fleece inside, stretching four ways.
It hugs your head without pressure, so it sits under a hood or helmet. The smooth face blocks wind and the fleece side wicks moisture. Over your nose and mouth sits a panel of Polartec Power Grid, so your breath gets out.
