Our Lady of Mariupol.
Inspired by the bravery of the defenders and people of Mariupol & Azovstal, own a one-of-a-kind piece of history produced in Ukraine by renowned Ukrainian illustrator & artist Maksym Palenko.
The artwork depicts the Lady of Mariupol as Pokrova, extending her arms to protect the heroic defenders of the Mariupol from shelling and destruction. Her veil or cassock shows the inner structure of the Azovstal plant catacombs that became a temporary shelter for Ukrainian fighters and civilians. Under her arms, covered in her cassock, the protectors of Mariupol are peering into your eyes.
Limited to only 75 prints, each piece is signed by Maksym, numbered by hand and stamped with a seal of authenticity.
The #1 print went for an incredible $22k bid during our first Instagram auction. Prints #2 - #5 found their homes among other top bidders. One of these artworks has been given to The Ukrainian Museum of Canada which preserves and exhibits Ukrainian cultural identity within Canada and the world.
100% of the proceeds from the sale of these prints will be used to purchase drones for the Ukrainian army. More than just a moving work of art, but a symbol of strength and resistance.
This artwork will arrive to you rolled in a protected shipping tube. Please note - it does not come framed as illustrated. Fulfillment and shipping can take a few weeks. No refunds - we are fundraising for drones to help save lives.
